In September I found myself in the endless desert of Saudi Arabia. Temperatures were ranging between 38 and 45 degrees Celsius. So how did I cope with the heat? One of the most important factors was wearing the right clothing. I chose to wear Fjällräven. Fjällräven provided me with the Abisko Hike Trousers, the Abisko Hike Shirt, and the Kiruna Hat during my trip to Al Ula in Saudi Arabia.
I was really impressed with the Abisko Hike Trousers. They were perfect for hiking in warm climates. The G-1000 Air stretch material is a combination of polyester and cotton, which made them lightweight, breathable, and quick-drying. The trousers also have a regular fit, which provided plenty of room for movement and comfort. The waistband was comfortable and the multiple pockets, including two hand pockets and a zippered leg pocket, were very useful. I also liked that they were very easy to fold and pack. Although the material feels thin and lightweight, the Abisko Hike Shirt provides excellent protection from the sun. The shirt has a regular fit and comes with a chest pocket with zipper. It is available in several different colors such as Dune Beige and is priced at 99,95 euro.
The Kiruna Hat was a simple and durable sun hat that was perfect for hiking in Saudi Arabia. The hat is made from the durable G-1000 Original material. It has a medium-wide brim that provides good all-round protection from the sun. The hat is foldable, making it easy to put away in your backpack when not in use. The leather Fjällräven logo on the side is a nice touch. The hat is priced at 54,95 euro.
