Stockholm. The capital of Scandinavia. That’s what they call themselves, probably to the annoyance of people from Copenhagen, Oslo or Helsinki, I guess. But Stockholm really lives up to its name. The city is stunning and if you haven’t been there, I advise you to start making plans right away!

When I was in Denmark I spent a few days in Aarhus. Denmark has a total population of only 5,700,000 and a fair amount of them live in or near Copenhagen. A couple of weeks ago I made an impulsive fly & drive trip to Denmark, home to several famous furniture designers. After been in Norway and Sweden numerous times, I must shamefully admit I’d never set foot in Denmark. Ever!

Before my trip to Warsaw, I said to myself there’s one building I really want to see during my short stay there and it’s the famous Palace of Culture and Science.
During my recent trip to Warsaw, I had the pleasure of staying at the Intercontinental. When I arrived, the selection of fancy cars at the hotel entrance couldn’t be missed, so things looked promising. Good to know those guys chose the same 5 star hotel to spend their nights in as I did.
